#5 - Fleet Street and St. Paul's

Last week, me, Kinsey, and Ashley went on the Fleet Street and St. Paul's walk. We started the walk off by stopping by St. Paul's Cathedral. Even though we have been in London for about seven weeks, I still hadn't seen the cathedral, so it was fun. I thought it was beautiful! The whole walk was very interesting, but my next favorite part was seeing where the last public hanging in Britain took place. It used to be the Newgate Prison, but is now the Central Criminal Court. I thought that it was really cool to see how things have progressed and changed over time. I actually really enjoyed walking down Fleet Street also. Even though the newspaper companies are no longer on this street and they are in different locations, it was still fun to see where it all started and where it used to be centralized. Overall, I thought that this walk was very interesting and even though it wasn't my favorite walk that we have done-- I really enjoyed it and learned a lot!
